      The monument to Pushkin installed at the intersection of Pushkin and Abay avenue in the city of Taraz. Its opening was held in 2004 and the authors of the project were Momysh sculptor and architects Risbek and Leskin.

      Monument to the poet was established on the initiative of Russian community of Taraz, the funds obtained from donations residents and sponsorship contributions. The monument to Pushkin is a bronze statue of the poet, mounted on a granite pedestal. Poet Alexander Pushkin depicted udalechynyu look and keep your left hand on his chest, as if in that moment, it was visited by inspiration. Every year, on June 6, poetry readings are held here, on this day at the monument to the inhabitants of the city lay flowers.
